Our Mission:
Rural Action Now! seeks to empower citizens with the grassroots advocacy training and support they need to improve the health and wellness of rural communities.
Our Strategies
- Build a regional advocacy alliance to support community health advocates now and in the future
- Foster citizen action to improve the health and wellness of rural communities through sustainable policy and environmental change
- Encourage community members of all ages and abilities to participate in our initiatives
Rural Action Now! is grant-funded by the NYS Department of Health, Office of Rural Health through 2012.
